Technical Overview

Linkmont is a Cisco(R) Channel Partner with network engineers who plan and deploy core infrastructure for Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), Wireless LANs (WLANs), Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services, Unified Communications (UC) Systems, Data Centers, In Building Wireless (IBW) systems, and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS).

We also specialize in wireless and radio communications technology for enterprise systems and firefighter radio code requirements.  Our wireless networking engineers support WiMax,  LTE, OFDM, FSK, VSAT, IBW and Emergency Repeater Services.  Past deployments include point to point, point to multi point, wireless backhaul, enterprise WiFi, GPS, hotspots, walled garden, frequency hopping guidance systems, fiber and coaxial DAS, femtocell, cellular repeaters, lightning suppression system architectures, and neutral host.

We staff subject matter experts to describe, design, deploy and maintain advanced technology solutions.  Leverage our network engineers from concept to service delivery or anywhere in between:

  • Perform site surveys to define and document the existing environment, risks and contingencies
  • Conduct network capacity assessments and security audits
  • Evaluate and design wireless architectures including RF modeling, link budget calculations, traffic shaping and encryption
  • Recommend networking platforms to meet customer requirements
  • Obtain material quotes, develop a Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage vendors
  • Provision circuits and configure equipment / software to support network infrastructure
  • Coordinate, perform and test system installations
  • Project manage complex deployments and change management processes

Linkmont also provides ongoing maintenance of service provider and enterprise networks through Service Level Agreements (SLAs).  We support your Information Technology (IT) staff with configuration, troubleshooting, operating system and other software upgrades, and Moves/Adds/Changes (MACs).
